Dr. Rebecca Kaltman is a breast oncologist and an innovator in the delivery of patient-centered, technology-enabled healthcare. Dr. Kaltman has a robust clinical background, with over 15 years of experience in breast cancer care and cancer genetics. Concurrent with her clinical career, Dr. Kaltman exhibits a keen entrepreneurial spirit born out of her desire to improve the adaptation of technology in medicine and bridge gaps in patient care.
In 2015, Dr. Kaltman started one of the first telemedicine practices for breast cancer patients in the country, Breast Cancer Consultants, where she offered virtual second opinions and clinical trial identification. From this online practice, Dr. Kaltman identified the need for a new way to deliver ancillary cancer care services. Drawing on her experience in telemedicine and expertise as a physician, Dr. Kaltman developed Mili, a next-generation cancer support service aimed at creating a more convenient, patient-centric approach to care that combines accessibility and credibility to help every cancer patient thrive.
Carrie Tilley, MS, APN, AOCNP is an oncology nurse practitioner and an experienced program developer in cancer survivorship and supportive care services. Carrie has 20 years of experience in oncology. Although her home base has been in the medical oncology clinic setting, she has unique experience in health technology from start up companies and oncology nursing organizations. Her determination to provide each patient the comprehensive care they deserve combined with her innate skill set to think big while at the same time meet individual patient needs make Carrie a natural leader in this area. Carrie joined Mili to develop solutions that will provide essential support to each patient and their family regardless of where or when they are receiving treatment.
Dr. Christian Miller is currently a medicine resident at NYU Langone Health. He graduated from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2022 with a concentration in Clinical Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Christian has dedicated his career to researching and innovating new methods for delivering care, and believes in leveraging technology to improve accessibility. His work includes several research projects in telehealth and he has spoken on the topic of technology in health equity at multiple academic conferences.
